Welcome back to Day 11 of my 12 Days of Christmas in July Showcase! We’re almost at the end of this festive journey, and today’s project is one of my favorites. This elegant handmade Christmas note card combines rustic textures with classic holiday colors to create a timeless design that's perfect for sharing warm Christmas wishes.
The star of today's card is the stunning layered white poinsettia, created with the Pretty Poinsettia Dies. The embossed detail on each petal gives the flower incredible dimension and realism, making it the perfect focal point. A sparkling Mosaic Adhesive-Backed Dot in the center adds just the right touch of holiday shimmer.
Behind the poinsettia, I layered two coordinating die cuts to create depth and contrast. The soft Old Olive label, cut with the Web of Fun Dies, provides a beautiful backdrop, while the Real Red accent label from the Sweet Words and Labels Dies adds a festive pop of traditional Christmas color.
To complete the design, I chose a weathered woodgrain background from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper that gives the card a cozy farmhouse feel. The rustic texture pairs beautifully with the crisp white flower, creating a clean yet sophisticated design that feels both classic and modern.
One of the things I love most about this card is how versatile it is. Whether you're sending Christmas greetings to family, friends, or neighbors, this elegant design is suitable for anyone on your holiday card list. The layered die cuts make the card look intricate, but it's surprisingly simple to recreate.
This project is also a wonderful reminder that you don't need a lot of embellishments to make a card feel special. By focusing on texture, layering, and a timeless color palette, you can create a handmade card that leaves a lasting impression.
Thank you for joining me for Day 11 of my Christmas in July Showcase! I hope today's card inspires you to experiment with layered die cuts and elegant focal points in your own holiday crafting.
Be sure to come back tomorrow for the final day of my 12 Days of Christmas in July Showcase, where I'll wrap up the series with one last festive project and celebrate a wonderful season of Christmas creativity!
Happy crafting!
