Of course, the kids were excited too, eagerly pointing out everything they spotted along the way.

One of the things I love most about this attraction is that it's different every time you ride it. Between the jungle scenery, the adventure-filled atmosphere, and the laughter shared with family, it's easy to see why it has become one of our Disney traditions.

Adventure Awaits on the High Seas! Free 12 x 12 Scrapbooking Sketch & Scrapbook Title Ideas

One thing I can always count on when we visit Disney World is that my children have a list of "must-do" attractions—and near the top of that list every single trip is the classic Pirates of the Caribbean ride!

During our summer vacation, we once again found ourselves sailing into mysterious waters, drifting through hidden caves, and spotting all kinds of pirate adventures along the way. Even though we've experienced the ride before, the excitement never seems to fade. The anticipation while waiting in line, the cool air inside on a hot summer day, and the familiar sights that make everyone smile are all part of the fun.

That's exactly why I created this double-page 12 x 12 Scrapbook sketch. I wanted a layout that captured the spirit of adventure while leaving plenty of room for photos of those unforgettable family moments. The layered paper elements, treasure-inspired accents, and nautical details create the perfect backdrop for documenting your own family adventures.

Today I’m sharing a soft and pretty 12x12 double-page scrapbook layout created with the beautiful Everyday Essentials Mix & Match Designer Series Paper. This layout has such a sweet, calm feel to it with its lovely florals, soft pink accents, cheerful yellow details, and those pretty teal tones throughout. It felt like the perfect combination for documenting photos that capture the everyday moments I’m especially thankful for.

For this layout, I used the patterned paper as the main focal point down the center of the pages, which creates a beautiful flow across the full spread. I love how the floral print instantly adds charm and elegance without overwhelming the page. The smaller details, like the layered banner pieces in the corner, the adorable little potted plant embellishment, and the soft Mosaic Accents, help tie everything together while keeping the design light and fresh.

The title “Grateful” felt like the perfect finishing touch for this layout. Whether you use a page like this for family memories, everyday snapshots, happy moments at home, or photos from a special day, it’s a wonderful reminder to document the things that bring joy to your life.
