Celebrate International Joke Day – July 1!

Get ready to laugh because July 1 is International Joke Day! This lighthearted holiday is dedicated to sharing smiles, spreading happiness, and celebrating the joy that laughter brings to our everyday lives.

Whether it's a silly pun, a classic knock-knock joke, or a funny story that always makes you giggle, today is the perfect day to share a laugh with family and friends. Laughter has a wonderful way of bringing people together and brightening even the busiest days.

As scrapbookers, we know that memories aren't just about the big moments, they're also about the little things that make us smile. International Joke Day is a great opportunity to create layouts that capture funny family stories, humorous vacation mishaps, silly pet antics, or memorable moments that still make you laugh years later.

Fun Scrapbooking Ideas for International Joke Day:

- Create a layout featuring your favorite family jokes.
- Include funny photos and candid snapshots.
- Add speech bubbles with silly sayings or puns.
- Use bright colors, smiley faces, and playful embellishments.
- Journal about a memory that still makes everyone laugh.

A Few Giggle-Worthy Jokes:

Why don't skeletons fight each other?
Because they don't have the guts!

What do you call a bear with no teeth?
A gummy bear!

Why did the scarecrow win an award?
Because he was outstanding in his field!

Remember, laughter is one of life's simplest joys. It costs nothing, lifts spirits, and creates wonderful memories worth preserving in your scrapbook albums.

So tell a joke, share a smile, and make someone's day a little brighter. Happy International Joke Day!

πŸŽ„ Christmas in July Showcase – Day 1: A Layout Filled with Joy!

Welcome to Day 1 of my 12 Days of Christmas in July Showcase! πŸŽ„✨

I'm so excited to kick off this special series where, from July 1st through July 12th, I'll be sharing a brand-new Christmas-inspired scrapbook layout or handmade card each day right here on my blog and over on Instagram. If you love documenting holiday memories, creating handmade projects, or simply enjoy Christmas crafting, you're in the right place!

For today's project, I created this 12" x 12" double-page scrapbook layout featuring the beautiful A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper paired with the adorable Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set.

The rich reds and greens immediately capture the warmth of the holiday season, while the quilt-inspired patterned paper along the outer edges adds a cozy, homemade feel. I kept the center of the layout open to showcase your favorite Christmas photos, making it perfect for documenting everything from decorating the tree to holiday gatherings, Christmas morning, or festive family traditions.

One of my favorite details has to be the sweet little reindeer embellishments! They add just the right amount of whimsy and pair perfectly with the simple circular sentiments, including the cheerful "JOY" title and "Most Wonderful Time of the Year." A few enamel dots finish everything off with pops of festive color without overwhelming the page.
